Liv. Lib. Everybody Loves The Sun With Zinc 50ml
Price: AUD $38.40
Everybody Loves the Sunshine with Zinc provides a pure, luxurious sun-shade from UV rays for days and days of summertime play.
If you long for a whole day spent in the sun, invite zinc to your summer party! Everybody Loves the Sunshine with Zinc is the same delectable sun harmonizing formula as Everybody Loves the Sunshine with the addition of non-nano particle, uncoated zinc oxide. Un-coated zinc oxide reflects the sun's rays, rather than absorb them, providing a natural sunshade.
Directions: Apply a few generous squirts to the exposed skin you want to “shade” and be extra diligent with your nose, chin, and shoulders. Reapply at least every two hours and more frequently when the UV index is high and when you are sweating. If your skin starts to feel warm, you will know it is time to reapply or seek shade.
Everybody Loves the Sunshine with Zinc is made with 20% non-nano particle uncoated zinc oxide and glorious sun-loving botanicals: desert jojoba, virgin coconut crème, red raspberry seed, seabuckthorn berry, tamanu and regenerating essences of helichrysum, lavender, cape chamomile, ginger, geranium, palmarosa, rose otto, carrot, ginger, frankincense, turmeric, calendula, sandalwood, and thyme linalool.
Designed to offer the maximum skin-shade from UVA and UVB rays without using a chemical sunscreen, Everybody Loves with Sunshine with Zinc is made without synthetic ingredients, such as oxybenzne or retinyl palmitate. We prefer uncoated zinc oxide as this is purer than titanium dioxide and coated zinc oxide is made with a synthetic silicone coating, triethoxycaprylylsilane. Uncoated zinc is also anti-bacterial and antimicrobial and may ease rosacea, age spots, and melasma.
Plants are the masters of absorbing all the energy of the sun and transforming it into life. Flowers capture sunlight from a star eight light years away and swirl these photons together with water and carbon dioxide to transform a pattern of cells into colorful, fragrant blossoms. This is the same star that stirs our skin cells and invites our bones to bloom.
Plants, too, require wise interaction with the sun, and almost all plant oils offer some degree of ultraviolet protection to their own tissues. The same oils generously offer the same protection and integration to our own skin. The term SPF can only be officially used in reference to synthetic sunscreen ingredients, though plant oils offer a range of protection that can gracefully extend our time in the sun.
Essential oils are the distillates of plants that contain the vital essences of their parent plant matter. Rich in antioxidants A, C and E, and anti-inflammatory compounds, they encourage skin renewal and healing. High concentrations of sun-protective flavonoids and carotenoids lend rich colors to some of these robust essences. As mitochondrial medicine, essential oils assist the cells in translating sunbeams–on-skin into vitamin D and benign heat. And, all of these essential oils are anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory (and thus anti-acne), while gentle enough to smooth all over a youngster’s skin.
EveryBody Loves the Sunshine contains five moisturizing plant oils that are especially adept at harmonizing the sun’s rays with our skin while providing a light, cooling canopy from too much UV. The anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant nature of these oils makes a delightful for everyday – yes, even on the face – serum for any type of skin.
All Organic Ingredients:
Desert Jojoba is an old friend to the sun. Its oil is extracted from the seed of this healing shrub. This lovely lubricating liquid imbues the skin with deep, lasting moisture.
Our pure, creamy Coco-Crème, cold pressed from tropical coconuts, fights the free radicals that contribute to premature aging. Coco-crème smells like summer and melts into the skin leaving it soft but not slick or greasy.
The fatty acids and antioxidants contained in Seabuckthorn Berry nourish sun-damaged skin, fade dark spots, and reduce inflammation. Seabuckthorn contains hundreds of beneficial bioactive compounds particularly suited to skincare. Omega 7, a rare fatty acid contained in seabuckthorn, is one of the most crucial building blocks for healthy, luminous skin.
Non-nano particle, uncoated pharmaceutical grade Zinc Oxide is the purest from of zinc available. Non-nano means that the molecular size of the zinc particles is large enough to not be absorbed by the skin.
Raw raspberry seed oil has potential use as a broad range sun protectant. Under a spectrometer, raspberry seed oil absorbed both UVB and UVC rays while scattering UVA; it may provide an equivalent of SPF-25. Red raspberry seed oil is also packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and beneficial fatty acids that dance together to make skin sing. It reduces inflammation and fights free radicals. The oleic acids found in red raspberries infuse every inch of skin with moisture.
Native to the sun-swept lands of Madagascar, the Tamanu Berry grows on a large, hearty evergreen shrub. Similar to the properties of red raspberry oil, tamanu oil can absorb significant amounts of UV radiation. Brimming with linoleic and oleic fatty acids, this benevolent berry also helps to speed wound healing and fade scars. Anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial, tamanu is also a fantastic treatment for rosacea, acne and eczema.
Everybody Loves the Sunshine artfully combines these moisturizing oils with 14 super, sun and skin loving essentials oils. As mitochondrial-medicine, essential oils assist the cells in translating sunbeams–on-skin into vitamin D and benign heat. And, all of these essential oils are anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory (and thus anti-acne), while remaining gentle enough to smooth all over a youngster’s skin.
Powerfully protective and rejuvenating, bright orange Schizandra Berry oil shields skin from the sun, clears the complexion, and amps up elasticity. The fatty acids in schizandra also help the skin maintain its own moisture levels, assuring you a smooth, silky glow.
Immortelle essential oil is one of nature’s most powerful skin healers. It reverses the effects of damaging free radicals thanks to its high antioxidant levels. It also encourages the skin to renew itself with fresh, healthy cells while preventing infections and reducing swelling.
Clarifying Carrot Seed essential oil detoxifies the skin while stimulating the production of new cells at the deepest level. Carrot seed is a wonderful wrinkle treatment and also alleviates acne.
Rose Otto is fabulous for sun-soaked skin and skin that is sapped of its glow. Rose otto increases skin’s elasticity by increasing collagen levels.
The powerful azulene contained in deep, summer-sky blue Cape Chamomile essential oil makes it an undeniably effective anti-inflammatory. It soothes sunburned and wind burned skin and serves as a gentle soother for sensitive skin. Calming and sedating, cape chamomile is just what sun gods and goddesses desire after a day at the beach.
The ancient elixir of Frankincense has blessed sunned skin for 2000 years. In clinical studies, topical application resulted in improvement in over-exposed skin, including photo-aging, roughness, and fine lines. Research on frankincense has demonstrated that it halts abnormal cell growth and even kills abnormal cells. It dissuades dryness, lightens hyperpigmentation, and improves elasticity in damaged skin.
Sandalwood essential oil is the perfect antidote for sun drenched skin that is itchy and inflamed. Scientific studies revealed that the alpha-santol and beta-santol in sandalwood essential oil are also preventative, reversing the damage of skin lesions. It helps the skin retain more moisture, improves cell turnover so old scars fade and acne clears.
Ginger essential oil is a hero in our healing arsenal. Warm and zingy, it is packed with antioxidants that assist with reversing signs of premature aging, clearing acne, healing wounds, and boosting collagen.
Perfectly suited to treat sunburns, luxurious Lavender is a gentle analgesic that cools and calms post-sunning skin. Lavender is also a fantastic anti-inflammatory agent – a perfect match for acne-prone skin.
Similar to the research results on frankincense and sandalwood, Geranium essential oil has also demonstrated to prevent abnormal cell growth. It also gently fades hyper-pigmentation. Geranium essential oil is thus highly esteemed by people who have a history of overexposure and sunburns.
Thyme Linalool essential oil contains all the antiseptic power of the other types of thyme oils without causing irritation. It is recommended for broad use on the skin – even very tender skin of babies and the elderly.
Many commercial sunscreens include Turmeric in their formulas for its protective power. Golden turmeric essential oil shares the healing arsenal spotlight with ginger. The yellow phytonutrients in this tropical tuber prevent the oxidization of lipids, which in turn may protect skin cells and radiance! It also banishes blemishes, helps to fade age spots, and increases elasticity.
Discover the sunny mirth of marigolds with Calendula essential oil. It is an anti-inflammatory super hero, easing sunburns and playtime scrapes in a single bound. This bold extract harnesses the powerful anti-aging properties of marigold petals that send redness and pain packing. It calms itchy skin, bites, and bruises, too. Traditional uses find that rashes, scars and swelling are all soothed with calendula.
Hydrating Palmarosa essential oil results in pitch-perfect moisture levels in the skin. It stimulates the formation of fresh, young skin cells so that dark spots, rough patches, and scars slough away. Palmarosa also tends to normalize skin imbalances, such as acne and dryness.
